About Me
Bob Ballew is an artist and writer based in Georgia, where he lives with his wife and two sons. His work combines watercolor illustration with very short poems, often haiku, that begin with ordinary observations and quietly drift into humor, tenderness, or mild unease. He is drawn to small moments, overlooked details, and the emotional weight of everyday objects, especially when they reveal something stranger than expected.
His books are meant to be browsed, revisited, and occasionally laughed at when you were not planning to. They sit somewhere between an art book and a poetry collection, inviting the reader to slow down, notice more, and accept that sincerity and absurdity can share the same space. Bob believes that when something feels slightly off, it is probably worth paying attention to.
